- 07 — Questions
Your Questions, Answered ( FAQ )
If something isn’t covered here, our reception team will gladly walk you through it no obligation to book.
Do I need a GP referral to book a physiotherapy session?
No. You can book directly with us as a self-referring patient. If you’re using private insurance, we’ll happily liaise with your provider.
What happens during my first appointment?
Your first session lasts 45 minutes. We discuss your history, assess your movement, explain our findings clearly, and usually begin treatment the same day.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients feel meaningful change within 3 to 6 sessions. After your assessment, we’ll give you a clear, honest estimate — never an open-ended plan.
Will the treatment hurt?
Our techniques are designed to ease, not aggravate. Some manual therapy can feel firm, but never painful. We constantly check in with you.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, loose clothing that allows access to the area being treated. Shorts and a t-shirt are ideal.
Do you treat children or older adults?
Yes. We care for patients of all ages, with adapted protocols for paediatric, postnatal, and geriatric needs.
